International Trusts

We advise individuals in relation to international trusts, covering the creation, variation and termination of trusts as well as advising trustees on their duties on the day-to-day running of international trusts.

In addition, we have extensive experience in preparing standard form and bespoke trust documents governed by a range of international trust laws.

Examples of our services include:

• Assisting a trust company on the “transfer in” of trust business from another trust company, including drafting all trust deeds and related documentation to change the trustees of all trusts involved.

• Assisting a trust company in the take-on of a book of business by reviewing in detail trust and underlying company files to highlight any potential compliance issues, as well as reviewing “know your client” documentation.

• Drafting a new and full suite of trust documentation for an offshore international trust company including trust deed precedents and other precedents for supplemental documents.
